Paulussen Advocaten NV, established in 1895, is a leading law firm which focuses on government bodies, businesses and social institutions. Our office is based on a closely knit team of lawyers and other legal experts with a wide range of backgrounds and specific areas of expertise.

The most important characteristic of the team is that, while others continue to think in terms of problems, we work with each other and with our clients to create opportunities.

Our office is functionally divided into four practice groups:

  government and institutions
  businesses
  real estate
  private individuals

We think we have an important responsibility towards our social and physical environment and therefore act accordingly. As a result, we provide financial and pro deo staffing support for relevant initiatives which contribute to a better balance between society, nature and the business community.

For example, we were involved in the establishment of the Planet Prosperity Foundation and, in 2007, we helped ensure that the ‘global warming’ film, An Inconvenient Truth, could be seen by the public for an entire month free of charge in 20 Dutch cities. We also helped organise a large-scale two-day sustainability congress held in Maastricht titled Cradle to cradle. In 2010 we were one of the founding partners of the business association De Groene Zaak, which has as a goal to accelerate the sustainability of the economic business climate in the Netherlands.
