I would like to share a bit about my experiences and motivation in my work as a lawyer and divorce mediator. Since I joined Paulussen Advocaten in October 2001, I have focused entirely on family law, with a particular emphasis on divorce and divorce mediation. Over the years, I have had the privilege of assisting many clients during one of the most profound periods of their lives. What always touches me is how clients share their experiences with me. One client wrote: “Divorce means balancing, finding a new balance. Thank you for being a guiding light in this process.” Words like these underscore for me how important it is, especially in these turbulent times, to be a pillar of support for my clients—a role I fulfill with great dedication and commitment. It is precisely this ability to offer support that motivates and inspires me in my work every single day.

Marjolein holds various memberships and registrations within family law.

She is a member of the specialist association, the vFAS, the Association of Family Law Attorneys and Divorce Mediators (for more information: www.verderonline.nl).

In addition to her registration as a vFAS divorce mediator, Marjolein is also a registered mediator with the MfN, the Dutch Mediators Federation (see also: www.mfnregister.nl)

Marjolein is also a registered special guardian with the Foundation for Special Guardians in the Netherlands (see also www.stichtingbcn.nl), whereby she may be appointed by the court as a special guardian for a minor in paternity cases.
